PGA Professional Tim Feenstra of Broadmoor GC won the PGA Professional Championship at Illahe Hills CC yesterday after posting rounds of 67-72-67-206. He won in a one hole playoff against Scott Erdmann of Oswego Lake CC. This win for Feenstra comes after a fantastic summer. He won the Washington Open Invitational in May and finished second at the Rosauers Open Invitatational in July.
Tim Feenstra, Scott Erdmann, Ryan Benzel, Corey Prugh, Luke Bennett, Tom Sovay, Joe Carranza, Jeff Coston, Brian Thornton and Brad Faller all advanced to the 45th National PGA Championship with their strong finishes. They will play Bayonet and Black Horse Golf Courses in Monterrey, California – June 24-27, 2012. Congratulations!
Congratulations also to Jason Owens of Waverley CC on his hole-in-one on #17 yesterday! Unfortunately Jason doesn’t have a Sterling Savings account but his ace was worth a little over a grand for the only skin of the day.
