Terry Russell Anderson |
Terry passed away after long battle with bladder cancer at age 74. He was the first director of golf at Eagle Crest, arriving there from Columbia Edgewater Country Club in Portland. He became the head professional at Black Butte Ranch in 2003. |

Joseph Dubsky |
“Joe The Pro” passed away peacefully in his home on January 24, 2018. Joe was a long-time PGA Professional at Sun Willows GC and more recently at Canyon Lakes GC. |

John Yacobellis |
John Yacobellis of Veneta, OR died on April 26 at age 81. John founded the Tucson Golf Academy in Arizona and The Sea Ranch School of Golf on California’s North Coast. He was also Director of Instruction at Lakewood CC in Denver. His administrative roles included Director of Golf at Angel Fire Resort in New Mexico and General Manager at Lake Padden GC in Bellingham, Washington. He was a member of the Pacific Northwest Section since 2016. |

Longtime PNW PGA member Vern Smith of Waverley CC and Ocean Dunes Golf Links passed away on July, 20, 2018. He was 92 years old. |

Daniel D. Strite |
Dan Strite passed peacefully at his home in Albany, OR on August 28, 2018. In 1950 Dan began a career as a golf professional serving northwest courses, beginning at Waverley Country Club and finishing his career at The Highlands in Gearhart. |

Joe McLaughlin passed away Oct. 24, 2018, in Longview, WA. He was 65 years old. Joe was the assistant golf pro at Mint Valley Golf Course from its inception until his retirement in 2014. He was a member of the PGA for over 30 years. |
