Rosauers Open Invitational – Final Results

 

PGA Professional Corey Prugh of Manito G&CC claimed his second Rosauers Open title in three years thanks to an eagle on the par 5 18th hole to cap off a final round 63.  Prugh’s eagle finish allowed him to overtake PGA Professional Tim Feenstra of Broadmoor GC on the final hole to claim his victory.   Low Amateur honors went to Derek Barron of Oakbrook G&CC with 12 under par total of 201.

Corey Prugh’s final round included a hole-in-one on the 224 yard par 3, 8th hole.  PGA Professional Ryan Benzel of Pro Golf  Discount – Lynnwood also made a hole-in-one on the 11th hole.

Proceeds from the Rosauers Open Invitational will benefit the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, Spokane’s safe haven for children at risk of abuse and neglect.  The Nursery also provides counseling, education and referrals for parents of young children.  $131,500 was raised for the charity this year which puts the total over $2,000,000.
