• Malby Defends Assistants Championship

    The theme continues for our WMC professionals with questionable summer weather conditions.  Located in the heart of the Flathead Valley lies Northern Pines Golf Course in Kalispell, MT.  Host to our 2018 Assistant’s Championship.  A cool blustery day for this annual 36 Hole event makes it anybody’s game but a familiar face finishes in red figures to claim the Championship.

  • Village Greens Duo Brave the Elements for Pro – Assistant Championship

    It took most of the day for the sun to finally peak through in Anaconda at Old Works Golf Course today for the 2018 Pro – Assistant Championship.  A cold and windy morning led to an hour long snow delay before players were able to resume their rounds and finish off the second major event of the WMC Tournament season.

    Jess Roper and Tyler Martin fired a -2 (70) in the two man best ball format to capture today’s honors.

Hometown Team Leaders of the Pack

Ideal day in the Hellgate Canyon just east of Missoula for today’s Pro Am.

We had 35 teams participate in today’s event with $510 supporting the Boys and Girls Club of Missoula. This is the best part of our week being about to contribute a little something to our local charities!

This week’s format was 2 Net Best Balls of the 4 person teams.

Am’s Make a Charge In Singles Matches to Take 2018 Montana Cup

Another perfect day for golf lead way to great scoring conditions on Day 2 of the 2018 Montana Cup at Green Meadow CC in Helena.  After day 1 the Professional’s lead the way with a 3 point lead, but day 2 was a different story.


The amateur’s started off with quick 2.5 points in the lead match and didn’t turn back taking 21.5 points in the singles matches to finish off the event with a 38 to 34 victory.

Day 1 at 2018 Montana Cup Concludes; Tight Race Tomorrow

The top 12 amateurs and 12 professionals from around the state of Montana gather at Green Meadow CC in Helena to compete for the coveted Montana Cup.  Each individual plays hard all season long in order to qualify for this event that only happens once a year.

Day 1 consists of Best Ball and Chapman matches in which the Professionals lead 19.5 to 16.5.  Stay tuned for final match results.  Best of luck to all players in tomorrow’s singles matches.
