PGA HOPE Pacific Northwest
PGA HOPE is a program that introduces the game of golf through a developmental 6-8 week curriculum, taught by PGA Professionals that are trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency. All programs are funded and supported by PGA REACH National and PGA HOPE Pacific Northwest to provide this program free to all Veterans.
Player Development Grants
Player Development Grants are available to support Pacific Northwest Section Members and Associates. Our goals are to provide as many grants as possible, with a maximum of $1,000 per grant. We will focus on enhancing your programs rather than fully funding them.
Bunny Mason Scholarship
Applications for the PGA Financial Assistance Fund Scholarship are used to determine Bunny Mason Scholarship recipients. To be eligible, students must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4. Furthermore, they must be a child or grandchild of a PGA Member in good standing and not have exceeded the maximum limit of two scholarships during their undergraduate studies.
PNWPGA Junior Ambassador Membership (JAM) Program
Grants are also available for the PNWPGA JAM program. JAM intentionally develops junior participants into leaders in their community through opportunities to develop junior golf events, fundraise for charities, participate in charitable programs, and receive mentoring from PGA Professionals and business leaders.
FREDDY Initiative
The FREDDY (Forming Relationships to Expand Diversity and Develop Youth) Initiative is a program designed to give special internship opportunities in the golf industry to individuals that show an interest in golf and would strongly benefit from a mentoring relationship. Learn more.
