Pacific Northwest PGA Junior Championship Results

Kennewick, WA – June 2, 2024 – Andrew Yang of Portland, OR, emerged victorious at the 2024 Pacific Northwest Junior PGA Championship held on June 2 in Kennewick, WA.

Yang will now have the opportunity to compete among the nation’s top junior golfers at the 48th Junior PGA Championship, hosted by the PGA of America. This premier junior event will take place at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland, from July 30 to August 2, 2024.

Yang clinched the championship title with an impressive score of 139 (5-under par), narrowly defeating Baylor Larrabee of Ferndale, WA. In the Girls division, Asia Young, 15, from Bend, OR, scored 142 (2-under par), edging out Cienna Lee of Lacey, WA.

Each of the 41 PGA of America Sections will send four players to the national championship in Maryland. Representing the Pacific Northwest will be Andrew Yang, Baylor Larrabee, Asia Young, and Cienna Lee.

In the Boys 13-15 age division, Justin Krasselt of Spokane, WA, took first place, with Conner Holden of Canby, OR, finishing second. Esther Yu of Renton, WA, triumphed in the Girls 13-15 age division, winning a scorecard playoff against Hannah Wendorf of Lake Oswego, OR, who finished second.

Makeo Rallanka of Seattle, WA, won the Boys 12 & Under division, while Jairo Sanchez-Godinez of Everett, WA, secured second place. In the Girls 12 & Under division, Anaya Lund of Auburn, WA, claimed victory, with Isabella Yu of Redmond, WA, finishing second.
