It is with great pleasure that I announce Jason Aichele, PGA, of Meadow Springs Country Club, has been elected as the new Secretary for the Pacific Northwest PGA Section. The election results were finalized following the Western Washington Chapter meeting on October 20, 2026.
Aichele joins our Section’s Board of Directors, which now includes:
- President: John Grothe, PGA, Willamette Valley Country Club
- Vice President: David Owens, PGA, Missoula Country Club
- Secretary: Jason Aichele, PGA, Meadow Springs Country Club
- Honorary President: Chris Nowlen, PGA, Missoula Country Club
The election was conducted in full accordance with the Pacific Northwest PGA Section Constitution & Bylaws. Each board member will serve a two-year term, contributing their leadership and expertise to the continued growth and success of our organization.
“I’m honored and excited to get to work alongside our Board of Directors to continue building on the great things happening throughout our Section. My goal is to help ensure we provide the best tournaments, programs, and opportunities for all 1,400 PGA Professionals and Associates across the Pacific Northwest,” said Jason. “I’m looking forward to the next eight years and all that we can accomplish together. Thank you again for your support and confidence. I’m excited to get started!”
John Grothe, incoming PNW PGA President, also expressed his confidence in Jason Aichele’s ability to excel in this new role:

Jason has demonstrated a strong commitment to our Section, our PGA Professionals, and the game of golf through his leadership and service. Chris Nowlen, PGA, Honorary President of the Pacific Northwest PGA, also shared his congratulations, highlighting Aichele’s experience and leadership.
“I would like to extend a warm welcome and congratulations to Jason Aichele on his election as Secretary of our Section. Jason brings a tremendous skill set, strong leadership qualities, and valuable experience to our officer team. Having had the pleasure of working with Jason for many years, I am confident he will be a great addition to our leadership. This is an exciting time for our Section, and I look forward to the contributions Jason will make in his new role.
Jason will be officially sworn in at our PNW PGA Board of Directors meeting in December, held at We-Ko-Pa Resort in Arizona.
