The Holcomb-In-One Las Vegas Pro-Am finished yesterday. We had 26 teams (130 players) in Las Vegas for the week, enjoying the sunshine and hospitality of Monte Carlo on the Strip for the 10th Annual Pacific Northwest Las Vegas Pro-Am.
The Holcomb-In-One Las Vegas is a five-man team, of one professional and four amateurs playing stableford competitions. There are daily team prizes, professional prizes, amateur gross and net prizes as well as overall prizes for the professionals, amateurs and teams. There are many different ways a player could cash besides at the casino!
Teams played Monday at Dragon Ridge CC, Tuesday at Desert Pines GC before returning to popular favorite Bali Hai GC on Wednesday.
Representative Grant Holcomb resturned as title sponsor of this championship andbrought his companies Antigua, Slazenger, Sun Mountain Sports, Range Servant and Imperial Headwear with him.
Lyndsey Devenish’s team won the overall competition, running away from the rest of the field with 209 points. Jeff Mehlert of McCormick Woods GC and his team placed second.
Low professional honors for the overall competition went to Chris Griffin of Pro Golf-Tacoma, Jeff Mehlert and Lyndsey Devenish.
