Two PGA members from the Pacific Northwest Section have been selected for the 2018-2019 Class of PGA LEAD: Ryan Young and Lacy Erickson. Ryan Young is Director of Instruction at Chambers Bay GC and Lacy Erickson is an Assistant Golf Professional at Portland GC. They join 13 others from around the country, who will come together for the first time at next month’s PGA Show to kick off this two-year leadership development program.
Simultaneously, the 15 PGA members of the PGA LEAD Class of 2017-2018 will enter into their second year in the program, including PNW PGA members Robyn Lorain and Quincy Heard. With this appointment, the members of the first PGA LEAD class, Howie Pruitt and Jorge Diaz will complete their two year program.
PGA LEAD was launched by the PGA of America and its National Diversity & Inclusion Committee in 2016 in an effort to identify, mentor and progress a dedicated group of PGA members from diverse backgrounds, who aspire to leadership roles within the Association, on a guided path.
