The 16th Holcomb-In-One Las Vegas Pro-Am just concluded in beautiful Vegas. We had 27 teams (135 players) in Las Vegas for the week, enjoying the sunshine and hospitality of Luxor Resort & Casino on the Strip. It was a fantastic time getting spoiled by the golf, entertainment and time with your friends!
The team led by PGA Professional Eric Briggs of Lakeland Village won the overall team competition with his amateurs Ken Reitz, Ken Davis, Tom Narak and Jeremy Washa.
Overall Professional honors also went to Eric Briggs. Low amateur gross honors went to Erik Olson of Riverbends GC and Jamie Hartley. Tod Wurst of Fircrest won low amateur net honors.
The Holcomb-In-One Las Vegas was a five-man team, of one professional and four amateurs playing stableford competitions. There were daily team prizes, professional prizes, amateur gross and net prizes as well as overall prizes for the professionals, amateurs and teams. There were many different ways a player could cash besides at the casino!
Teams played Monday at The Las Vegas CC, Tuesday at TPC Las Vegas and Anthem CC on Wednesday.
Representative Grant Holcomb returned as title sponsor of this championship and brought his companies Antigua, Sun Mountain Sports, PlayKleen, Certifresh Cigars, and Imperial Headwear with him.
