The 2022 Senior PGA Professional Championship presented by Cadillac begins Thursday, October 13, at Twin Warriors & Santa Ana Golf Clubs in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. The four-day, 72-hole event is supported by Golf Channel. A full field of 264 players are competing for the Leo Fraser Trophy and key exemptions:
- The low 35 scorers earn a berth into the 2023 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco in Frisco, Texas, May 25-28 – the first major to be contested at the new Home of the PGA of America.
- The Senior PGA Professional Championship’s top five finishers also garner an exemption into the final stage of the 2023 PGA Tour Champions Qualifying School – Final Stage 2022.
- Those who finish in the top eight, including ties, will automatically qualify for next year’s Championship at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida, October 24-29, 2023.
