The 20th Holcomb-In-One Las Vegas Pro-Am just concluded in beautiful Las Vegas. We had 25 teams in Las Vegas for the week, enjoying the sunshine and hospitality at the famous Caesars Resort. It was an exciting week of sunshine, excellent golf, delicious food, and some games of chance!
The Holcomb-In-One Las Vegas Pro-Am format is a five-man team of one professional and four amateurs playing stableford competitions. There were daily team prizes, professional prizes, amateur gross and net prizes as well as overall prizes for the professionals, amateurs and teams. There were many ways a player could win besides at the casino!
Teams played Las Vegas CC on Monday, TPC Las Vegas on Tuesday and Anthem CC on Wednesday.
Congratulations to the team led by PGA Professional Jon Larson of Hayden Lake CC with amateurs Todd Chapman, Mike Chapman, Bobby Drummond and Jake Wayt! They ended the week on top, becoming the 20th Holcomb-In-One Las Vegas Pro-Am Champions.
The overall PGA Professional Champion competition ended in a tie between Anton Rosen of Manito G&CC and Corey Prugh of Community Colleges of Spokane.
Greg Sanders of Anthem G&CC won the low amateur gross honors while Perry Ponti of Pro Golf Discount won the low amateur net competition.
Special thanks to Grant Holcomb with Antigua, Imperial Headwear and Sun Mountain for returning as our title sponsor for the 20th consecutive year! This event would not be possible without Grant, and we are forever grateful for his continued support.
