PGA Life Member Don Shaw was born on December 12, 1938, in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas and passed away on October 22, 2023 in Lake Stevens, Washington. Don began his golf career in 1957 at Wenatchee Golf & Country Club. In 1964, he moved to Marysville, Washington, and began work at Cedarcrest Golf Course. He was elected to PGA Membership on April 16, 1967. In 2001, he retired from Cedarcrest and became a Life Member of the PGA.
Don also owned Seven Oaks Golf Range in Lake Stevens, Washington, from 1975 to 2010. He was a passionate golfer and loved teaching others about the game.
Don is survived by his wife, Lois and their daughters, Shawna and Shamra.
Don will be remembered for his dedication to the game of golf, and as a mentor to many golf professionals in every aspect of the business.
