2024 Player of the Year Award Winners

Russell Grove, PGA has been named the 2024 ROLEX PNW PGA Player of the Year. Russell’s remarkable consistency and skill were on full display throughout the season. He claimed victory at the Pelzer Golf Oregon Open Invitational, finished tied for third at the PNW PGA Professional Championship, secured a tied fourth-place finish at the Rosauers Open Invitational, and tied for fifth at the Pelzer Golf Northwest Open Invitational. Adding to his impressive year, Russell made the cut at the 2024 National PGA Professional Championship and advanced to the 2025 National PGA Professional Championship. His dedication to the game and competitive spirit have set a high standard for excellence.

In the senior category, Ryan Malby, PGA has been named the 2024 ROLEX PNW PGA Senior Player of the Year. Ryan’s outstanding performances included a championship win at the PNW Senior PGA Professional Championship, another victory at the Senior Oregon Open Invitational, and a second-place finish at the Senior Players’ Championship. He capped off his season with a top-10 finish at the National Senior PGA Professional Championship, earning a coveted spot on the Corebridge Financial Team to compete in the 2025 Senior PGA Championship. Ryan’s skill and determination have truly shone through this season, making him a standout among his peers.

Congratulations are also in order for Shane Prante, PGA, who has been named the PNW PGA Assistant Player of the Year for 2024. Shane’s season was highlighted by a stellar runner-up finish at the National Car Rental Assistant Championship. He also delivered impressive performances with a tied 11th-place finish at the Pelzer Golf Northwest Open Invitational and a tied 23rd at the Rosauers Open Invitational. Shane’s hard work and talent earned him a spot in the National Assistant Professional Championship, further solidifying his reputation as one of the most promising players in the region.
