While it was rainy and windy back home in the Northwest, seven teams escaped to sunny Mexico for the PNW PGA Mexican Fiesta Pro-Am. Set against the stunning backdrop of TPC Danzante Bay Golf Course, 35 players enjoyed three rounds of championship golf and the all-inclusive luxury of Villa Del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa in Loreto.
The par-72 course, designed by Reese Jones, offered a true test of skill for golfers of all levels. From scenic beach holes to dramatic cliffside and canyon shots, players faced diverse challenges with the added thrill of ocean breezes and panoramic views. Amidst fast greens, thick rough, and strategic bunkers, teams competed fiercely over three rounds of the PNW PGA Mexican Fiesta Pro-Am presented by Pelzer Golf Supplies for the coveted title of Team Champions.
Congratulations to the winning team led by PGA Professional Ryan Wanamaker of Erin Menath Golf, along with amateurs Spencer Grooms, Jason Swan, Brian Fortune, and Garren Deschane, who claimed the top honors in the team competition. Additional recognition goes to PGA Professional Bobby Pancratz of Lone Tree GC, who won low professional honors, and to amateur Chris Hudson from TPC San Antonio for his low amateur win.
A heartfelt thank you to Craig Pelzer for his generous sponsorship, which made this incredible week even more memorable.
