For Kennedy Swann Bodiford, golf has been a lifelong passion. After playing professionally, she transitioned into a career as a PGA Professional, finding her dream job as Head Professional at Tokatee Golf Club in Blue River, Oregon. “I fell in love with Tokatee and the community when my husband and I moved here five years ago,” she says. “When I heard the former Head Professional was retiring, I knew it was the perfect opportunity.”
Swann Bodiford has made a significant impact, particularly in golf merchandising. Her strategy focuses on offering quality, diverse products at different price points while ensuring every guest feels welcome. Her vision came to life through a recent pro shop renovation, where she modernized the space and curated a unique selection of apparel and accessories. “I wanted to create an open, inviting space that highlights Tokatee’s iconic logo while offering classy, modern designs.”
Looking ahead, she sees younger golfers shaping trends, with casual, stylish golf apparel gaining popularity. “Graphic prints, lifestyle brands, and household souvenirs have been a hit,” she notes. Grateful for her role, Swann Bodiford credits her team and the Giustina family for Tokatee’s continued success. “Tokatee family all the way!”
