Vaughan Wins PNWPGA Senior Players Championship presented by Fairways and FunDays

PGA Professional Darin Vaughan of Cobra/Puma Golf captured the title at the PNWPGA Senior Players Championship presented by Fairways and FunDays, held April 15-16 at Wine Valley Golf Club. Vaughan carded rounds of 72–66 for a 6-under-par total of 138, edging out PGA Professional Ryan Malby of Kalispel, MT by a single stroke.

The championship field featured a strong roster of past champions, including: PGA Professional Scott Leritz of Royal Oaks CC(2024), PGA Professional Mark Knowles of McCormick Woods Golf Course (2023), PGA Professional Jeff Coston of Semiahmoo G&CC (2022, 2018, 2006), amateur Mike Swingle of Aldarra GC (2021), PGA Professional Tom Sovay of The GC at Redmond Ridge (2017), PGA Professional Rob Gibbons of Arrowhead GC (2016), PGA Professional Mark Gardner of The Creek at Qualchan (2015),  PGA Professional Mark Keating of Meriwether National GC (2014, 2012), and PGA Professional Chuck Milne of Vancouver, WA (2005,2001,1998).

The Pacific Northwest PGA Senior Players Championship is a 36-hole stroke play competition featuring both professional and amateur divisions. Gross and net payouts were awarded in each category.
