April 26th PAT Site Moved to Lake Spanaway GC

Tumwater Valley PAT Moved

The Tumwater Valley PAT that was scheduled on Thursday, April 26th has been moved to Lake Spanaway GC in Tacoma, WA.  Tumwater Valley GC had to delay in aerating their greens this spring due to the poor winter weather we received like many of our golf courses. Tumwater is now scheduled to punch on Monday, April 9th.  Stu Aden (Head PGA Professional at Tumwater Valley GC) and I wanted to move the PAT to Lake Spanaway GC which was able to punch already to ensure that you would have the best playing conditions for your upcoming Playing Ability Test.

If you were previously scheduled to take the April 26th PAT at Tumwater Valley GC, you automatically are signed up for the Lake Spanaway GC PAT scheduled that same day.  All we did was move the location to a course that already was able to punch their greens that is very player friendly.

If you haven’t signed up yet but would like to sign up for our Lake Spanaway GC PAT on Thursday, April 26th – please go to https://www.pgalinks.com

The PAT is a registration requirement for all new apprentices and may be attempted at any point prior to registration. Currently registered apprentices who have a “provisional pass” must attempt the PAT at least twice a year until passing or be suspended.

Passing the PAT sooner rather than later is a good idea….sign up today.

Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience!
